J.J. Griego

Manager, CPA

J.J. has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and consulting. He is a veteran auditor of governmental, not-for-profit and commercial entities. His experience includes tribes, counties, municipalities, housing authorities, tribal entities, not-for-profit entities, construction contractors, technology, cannabis and other commercial entities. J.J.’s experience in the field and training his peers means that he can and will evaluate your situation to ensure that the your organization is preparing and reporting information accurately, efficiently, timely, and if necessary, on budget. His extensive consulting experience includes acting as business manager and/or Chief Financial Officer for multiple entities, including charter school, tribal entities, school districts and commercial for-profit organizations. J.J. has supported the community extensively. J.J. has served on many boards in the community, including the ALS foundation, New Mexico Society of CPA’s, New Mexico Sports Hall of Fame Board, the Albuquerque Public Schools Foundation and most recently served as a high school basketball coach.

Juan Garcia

Manager, CPA

Juan serves as an Audit Manager in the Assurance and Audit Department. He joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP in 2016 after starting his public accounting career in 2014. Juan has a Master’s in Business Administration with a Finance Specialization, and an Advanced Single Audit Certificate from the AICPA. He has worked on for-profit, not-for-profit, and governmental entities, and receives extensive Yellow Book training on a regular basis. Juan also has considerable experience in external audit, risk assessment, and control assurance to many Governmental entities. Prior to becoming an accountant, Juan owned and operated his own business for 10 years. His successful business experience and accounting background allow him to provide exceptional small business consulting too many clients. Juan is proudly a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.

Dalina Matsumoto

Senior Manager

Dalina Matsumoto joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. as a Senior Manager within the Audit Department in July 2025. She brings over a decade of experience from previous roles at Frank, Rimerman & Co. LLP, where she served for four years, and Deloitte & Touche LLP, where she spent six years.

Dalina has provided both integrated and non-integrated audit services to a wide range of public and private clients. Her industry experience spans renewable energy, software, technology, biotech, and manufacturing. She has worked with organizations of all sizes—from early-stage startups to global public companies—and has deep expertise in business combinations, IPOs, and complex debt and equity transactions.

Dalina received a Master of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. She is a licensed certified public accountant in the State of Nevada and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Dalina was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM. Since returning to Las Cruces, she has been active in several community organizations including serving as the Treasurer for the Board of La Academia de Dolores Huerta Charter School and the Finance Committee Co-chair for Las Cruces Catholic Schools
