Accounting Services Manager
Lisa started with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in September 2002. She is a long time resident of the Mesilla Valley and obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. Lisa has experience in a range of public accounting areas to include financial statement compilation and review as well as business and individual taxation. At Beasley, Mitchell & Co., Lisa manages our client accounting services and is a QuickBooks Pro Advisor. Lisa enjoys working with clients to better help them understand their financial statements and assist them in tax planning so that they can reach their ultimate goals.
Senior Manager, CPA
Kevin has been with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. since 1995. He obtained his Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. Kevin started in public accounting in 1980 and has experience in most areas of public accounting that include financial statement audits, reviews, business consulting, and estate and trust taxation. At Beasley, Mitchell & Co., he is responsible for the Estate and Trust Division of the firm. Kevin provides fiduciary accounting and tax services to a broad range of clients. He enjoys working with individuals to help them fulfill their responsibilities as fiduciaries. Kevin is a member of the Southern New Mexico Estate Planning Council.
Senior Manager, CPA, CGMA
Lori has been with Beasley, Mitchell, & Co. since 2000. She obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. As a Certified Public Accountant and Chartered Global Management Accountant, Lori brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice. She works primarily with taxes and business consulting including developers, contractors, retail businesses, and the medical field. Lori is also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor and can assist you in all aspects of your internal accounting system involving new setup and evaluating/restructuring existing setups. She enjoys working with clients to assist them in minimizing their income taxes while maximizing their ability to manage their businesses. Lori is a long time resident of the Mesilla Valley and is active with community and civic organizations.
Dahlia P. Garcia
Audit Manager, CPA
Dahlia serves as a supervisor in the assurance and audit department, having joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP in 2015. She brings 9 years of financial accounting experience both in private and public accounting. In the past 4 years, she specialized in assurance services to include audit, agreed-upon procedures, reviews, and compilations. Her specialization in financial and compliance audits for a multitude of industries include governmental, not-for-profit, ERISA, construction, and gaming. Dahlia earned her Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University. In 2011 she became a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and served as the President of the Young CPA's, El Paso Chapter for 2014-2015. She is also a member of the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Dahlia is very active in her community volunteering for the Amigo AirSho, Rebuilding Together, Relay for Life, El Paso Westside Classic Soccer, and many more.
Scott K. Fowler
Scott began working in accounting in 1971 while pursuing his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at New Mexico State University. He obtained his CPA Certificate right after graduation in 1974 and became a partner at a CPA firm in Las Cruces. In 1989, he started his tax practice and eventually joined Beasley Mitchell & Company in January 2016. He has extensive experience in business consulting and specializes in Tax Planning and Advising for Individuals and Closely Held Businesses. Scott He has been active in the New Mexico Society of CPA’s, in local civic and charitable work, as well as the Las Cruces Home Builders Association. In 1988, he was designated as one of 100 Centennial Alumni from the College of Business Administration for the 100th Anniversary Celebration of the founding of New Mexico State University
Tax Specialist, CFE
Jeanette Wisner joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 2008. She has a Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University and has 20+ years of accounting experience. Jeanette provides client services in tax preparation, consulting, fraud examinations, and audit and assurance, as well as litigation support, including court-appointed receiverships, special master, and conservatorships. Jeanette is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). The CFE credential indicates expertise in all areas of fraud prevention and detection. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and an Affiliate Member of the New Mexico Society of CPA’s. She is Secretary of the El Paso Area ACFE Chapter and previously served a two-year term as an At-Large Board Member. Jeanette is also a member of the Dona Ana County Internal Audit Advisory Committee. She previously held several positions, including President, for the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance (AFWA) Las Cruces Chapter.
Audit Specialist, MBA
Juan serves as an Audit Specialist in the Assurance and Audit Department. He joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co., LLP in 2016 after starting his public accounting career in 2014. Juan has a Master’s in Business Administration with a Finance Specialization, and an Advanced Single Audit Certificate from the AICPA. He has worked on for-profit, not-for-profit, and governmental entities, and receives extensive Yellow Book training on a regular basis. Juan also has considerable experience in external audit, risk assessment, and control assurance to many Governmental entities. Prior to becoming an accountant, Juan owned and operated his own business for 10 years. His successful business experience and accounting background allow him to provide exceptional small business consulting too many clients. Juan is proudly a member of the Texas Society of CPAs.
Reta joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 1990 after graduating with High Honors from New Mexico State University with her Bachelor of Accountancy. She became a partner in the firm in 1996 and earned her designation as a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning from the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education in 2000. She provided tax services and was responsible for the Estate and Trust Division of the firm. Since her retirement in 2002, Reta has consulted for the firm during the busy season and has been active with local charitable organizations.
