LAS CRUCES – The Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA), a public/private sector economic development organization serving Doña Ana County, recently elected Christine Esquibel Wright, CPA, to the board of directors. Christine is a partner of Beasley, Mitchell & Co., the largest accounting firm in Las Cruces and Southern New Mexico.

“The mission of MVEDA is to grow the wealth of Doña Ana County through the creation of economic-based job opportunities for it residents,” said Davin Lopez, MVEDA President and CEO. The non-profit organization relies on support, guidance, and assistance from community members and business professionals like Wright.

Christine has over 20 years of tax and consulting experience, and is a member of many professional organizations. As one of the owners of Beasley, Mitchell & Co., the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals (NAPAP) named Christine among the Top 10 Public Accounting Professionals earlier this year.

“Looking out for the economic well-being of our community is important to me,” said Christine. “When the community grows, so do the opportunities for success for all of us, and I’m very proud of the work that MVEDA does to bring those opportunities to the entire area.”

Beasley, Mitchell & Co. is a privately owned partnership in Las Cruces, New Mexico. For over 25 years, the firm has provided expert solutions to businesses and individuals through accounting, taxation, payroll and employee benefits administration, business consultation and estate and gift planning services.
