Don has worked in the accounting field for 45 years. He earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from New Mexico State University in 1972. He founded Beasley, Mitchell & Co in November 1987. Initially it was a three person staff, and through the years it has grown to a staff of 50. Don provides business consulting to our clients and specializes in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses. In addition, he spends a large amount of time assisting clients in maximizing their profits and also in the transition of their business. Don is very active in local civic and charitable work. He was one of the founding Board Members of the Mesilla Valley Hospice and also served as President of the New Mexico University Foundation. He has served on various Accounting boards and has lectured for various accounting organizations. Don looks forward to the continued growth of our client base, the community and the Firm.

Beth Fant15Beth Fant, Enrolled Agent/Managing Partner

Beth started with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 1988. She began her career as a bookkeeper and tax preparer and worked six years for a small CPA firm in Mississippi. At Beasley, Mitchell & Co., she leads the accounting services department and is the Managing Partner for the firm. Beth provides accounting and tax services to a broad range of clients and specializes in the needs of small businesses, including healthcare providers, farmers and the transportation industry. Beth is a problem solver and has assisted many clients with difficult income tax, payroll tax and gross receipts tax issues. Beth has been very active in community service and most recently served as the treasurer of the Community Foundation Board of Trustees.

ChristineWrightNewChristine Esquibel Wright, CPA, CGMA, Partner

Christine provides leadership to the Tax and Business Consulting division, and leads the Retirement Plan department, and has 20+ years of experience in business, tax, retirement plans, litigation projects and has served numerous times as a court-appointed receiver, conservator and special master. Christine is a licensed CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), earned a Bachelor’s degree from New Mexico Highlands University and holds advanced certifications and training including: the AICPA’s Certificate of Educational Achievement in Tax Planning and Advising for Closely Held Businesses, ASPPA’s Retirement Plan Fundamentals (RPF) Certification, and the Loyola IV: Receivership Law & Practice conference for Court Appointed Receivers. Christine’s professional memberships include the AICPA, the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA); her community leadership includes board of directors for the Mesilla Valley Economic Development Alliance (MVEDA) and Las Cruces Catholic Schools; she recently appointed to advisory commissions for the NMSU Accounting Department and the Las Cruces Diocesan Schools; she is past-president of the Doña Ana Chapter of CPAs. In 2016 Christine was named Top 10 Public Accounting Professionals, awarded by the National Academy of Public Accounting Professionals (NAPAP), & is past recipient of the “Experienced Leader Award” in the Women to Watch by the NM Society of CPAs.

Brad Beasley earned his Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas in 2000. Brad worked in Internal Audit and SEC compliance while working the in gaming industry for Harrah’s Entertainment (now Caesars’ Entertainment). Brad has been with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. since 2004, and a partner since 2008. At Beasley, Mitchell & Co., Brad manages the Audit and Assurance practice and provides accounting and tax services to a broad range of clients with concentration in commercial and residential construction, the transportation industry, and franchise operations. Brad has been active in several community and civic organizations as well as serving as Chairman of the Board of the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants, President of the Dona Ana Chapter of CPA’s, President of the Las Cruces Rio Grande Rotary Club and Treasurer of Rotary District 5520, Secretary of the Mesilla Valley Hospice Foundation, and the AICPA Council representative for New Mexico. Brad is a member of the Audit Committee of NMSU, a member of the Emerging Leaders Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, and serves on the AICPA Assurance Services Executive Committee. Brad is currently serving as an advisor to the NMSU president on Athletic Department operations. In his spare time Brad is a radio broadcaster for the Bulldawg, Trojan, Knight, and Hawk Football Radio network.

Tony Moran
F. Tony Morán, CPA, Partner

Francisco “Tony” Morán has been with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. since 2008. Francisco provides individual and corporate tax preparation services and is bilingual (Spanish and English). He is involved in the preparation of reviewed and compiled financial statements. Francisco has a Master of Accountancy with a Minor in Finance from NMSU and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Francisco is an alumnus of the College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) at NMSU. He has served as past-president of the Doña Ana Chapter of CPAs and as board member of the NM Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Christopher Salcido
Christopher Salcido, CPA, Partner

Christopher Salcido has been with Beasley, Mitchell & Co. since 2008. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Christopher earned his Master and Bachelor of Accountancy from NMSU and was a member of Beta Alpha Psi. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, has served as president and treasurer of the Dona Ana Chapter of CPAs, served on the committee for NMSCPA Leadership Academy, graduate of Emerging Leadership Academy, and treasurer and Vice President of Education of Gene's Gesters Toastmasters. Christopher provides individual and corporate tax preparation and tax consultation services.

David joined Beasley, Mitchell & Co. in 2014. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University and with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska-College of Law with a focus on taxation, estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, and transactional business law. While in law school, David was Articles Editor for the Nebraska Law Review. David was previously an associate with the McGrath North law firm based in Omaha, Nebraska where he assisted clients with federal, state and international taxation issues along with counseling individuals with their estate and business planning needs. At Beasley, Mitchell & Co., he assists our clients in the areas of taxation, estate and gift planning, and litigation support. David is admitted to practice in Nebraska, Iowa, and New Mexico. David serves as Treasurer for the Las Cruces Public Schools Foundation and for various other local non-profit organizations. David is a veteran of the United States Air Force, is adjunct faculty at Western New Mexico University, and was born and raised in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
